Original Thinking: Cigna’s, “Go You” Advertising Campaign

Pass these people four broccoli sandwiches: some original thinking has been put into the Cigna Corp. advertising campaigns. The “Go You” commercials done by Hill Holiday, Cigna’s agency of record,  just makes you want to get up and high-five someone.  Think that feeling is worth $25 million?

See for yourself.

Four broccoli sandwiches and Wall Street Journal coverage later, I’d say a yes. According to Wall Street Journal, Cigna’s commercials “appear to pitch health coverage as a path to self-actualization.” According to me, an average Joe, they are capitalizing on the individual’s desire to feel like a unique person. Dang.

Well done, Hill Holiday, well done.
