Chobani yogurt is getting smart. Add an Olympic athlete, a Mom and her kid, and a leading Greek yogurt brand, and you get this brand extension:
The first ever commercial for Chobani Champions yogurt. That’s a four broccoli sandwich winner in my book.
Chobani’s agency, Leo Burnett, New York, timed this just right. With the summer Olympics less than two months away, Chobani looks on top of their game with this brand extension. Leo Burnett showed viewers that Chobani is a supporter of Team USA, a healthy, delicious food for kids, and their understanding of the bond between mother and son. And they did that all in one commercial.
Impressive, and yet, there’s still lots of potential for this brand extension. Maybe by July 27th, they’ll be ranked first in Greek yogurt for kids. Now that would be gold worthy. (Maybe even another broccoli sandwich, too.)
